My Project
This is the first year for a sewing club at our school. We have sewing machines, but none of the other supplies. We need needles and thread, ribbon and felt shapes as well as fabric.
Students will be able to create bookmarks, pillowcases and pillows shaped like the letters in their names!
Many of my students do not know how to sew, even to make simple repairs like sewing on a button. With this sewing club, students will have the opportunity to learn a new skill, express themselves creatively, and even make their own gifts for others.
