My Project
Knowing how to sew is a very important skill for students to learn. With this project, my students will learn to make simple repairs to clothing, as well as create Pillows from old T-shirts, and make bookmarks and simple gifts for others. These skills will benefit my students' overall wellbeing and increase their confidence.
I want my students to know that sewing can be fun and creative as well as a necessary skill!
Additionally, my students will be able to use their skills for community service projects as part of their education.
With these supplies of thread, interfacing, and Polyfil, my students will have unlimited opportunities to create with fabric, felt, and their imaginations!
