This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sewing machines will facilitate new skills and experiences for students. They become more involved and focused in their future learning. Sewing helps students to solidify learning in a real world environment. New sewing machines will be an upgrade to the various old ones they are using now. Students grow in independent thinking and problem solving skills as they work through taking care of machines that are mechanical in nature. It also develops skills outside the realm of mind and involves physical experience. Whatever you can give would be most appreciated. Thanks
