The students at CJH school have unique backgrounds. These students are fifth-generation students as well as students with diverse backgrounds. The Holocaust mirrors the diversity of our students. Seuss' books will assist with demonstrating the creativity that children's books use to inspire people to think differently about horrific events without being too troubled. Our students will work with these materials in January to compare and contrast the events of the Holocaust with the ideas presented in these books. In years past, we made copies of books that were hard to read. It would be awesome to hold the books in our groups this year.
