My Project

Research has shown that students do well when they are not being exposed to those blinding lights that are installed in our schools today. Alternative lighting sources are a great way to provide that to set up a successful classroom. My students will be able to learn without the blinding lights, but still have enough lighting to be able to learn.

The lighting allows all students to be successful because I am thinking about those that have sensory issues as well.

Many times students will be overlooked that need to be accommodated with those needs. I want to rectify that. Along with the organization I can provide. This will allow me to create an organized and efficient classroom that will let all students know where materials are located and have quick and easy access to them.

I am hoping that by setting up a successful and enjoyable classroom, students will be more engaged and ready to learn about computer science. It can be exciting to some and daunting to others. Setting up a successful environment is just one step to making it better to reach all students to be successful in learning how to navigate our 21st century.
