My Project

Going into my third year as an educator, I am continuing to build an organized and comfortable reading and technology-rich classroom. While teaching in a low-income school with a diverse group of students, I am working on showing them how to become leaders, build confidence and keep a clean and organized classroom.

It is important that my 4th graders begin learning how to care for their learning space.

The "Leader Reader Chair" will allow me and my students to sit, showcase and read the chosen book for the day; helping students build confidence in their reading and speaking skills. The Teacher Pay Teachers gift card will open the door for my classroom to have more resources and activities created by experienced teachers right at my fingertips! The print cartridges for my current classroom printer will allow me to quickly prepare those resources that may be immediately needed for the day. Finally, the laptop organizer and cleaning supplies will help exhibit organization and leadership skills by teaching them to care for their technology and learning space.
