My Project

My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade and differ in ability levels. They are deeply curious learners from various cultural backgrounds within a very strong community. They need the utmost support as they are all learning at different paces, on different grade-levels, and with vast learning and behavioral needs. They live in a very low-socioeconomic neighborhood in Harlem, New York and receive free breakfast, lunch, and after-school snacks. To accommodate their academic, social emotional, sensory, and daily living needs, we need your help!

The supplies I am asking for are geared toward daily items that we need replenishments for such as paper, cleaning supplies, and treats!

As the special education coordinator and special education teacher support servicer I have a lot of documents and resources to print for staff and students so I require a lot of paper! You will notice there are items to ensure my room is clean (wipes), especially since I will not have easy access to a sink this year. Aside from working in small groups, my room will often feel like a safe haven for many students who need a break from their classroom.
