This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello World! This years class goal is to set our sights on supporting each students unique sensory needs. As a K-1-2 bridge Self-contained Special Education Class, with a new classroom large enough to accommodate sensory stations, our goal is to meet the individual needs of the students.

We are looking forward to including sand, play-dough, water-bead, audio book, and SEL themed ART stations/ activities that will allow students to receive the sensory input and expression they need.

As well as incorporate additional seating for students that require back support during carpet time.

As our students desire for sensory input continues to grow, so does our desire to meet student needs however we can! Please support us as we seek to purchase the listed items and give back to the ones who really matter, our students! THANK YOU!!
