Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These basic school supplies will help us reach our potential this year as learners and members of a positive school community. Thanks to your donation, we will all have access to the supplies we need to not just survive junior high—but to THRIVE this year.

We are focusing on having calm minds so that we can think deeply, learn well, and be kind to ourselves and our classmates.

So we will be using our yoga mats for stretch breaks when sitting gets to be too much. We will use our school supplies to keep ourselves organized, we will use our fidgets to help us concentrate, and we will use rewards to keep us motivated when trying to reach long-term goals like becoming strong writers, careful readers, passionate speakers, and deep thinkers.
