Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order to have a successful year, my second-grade students will need the basic materials to support their growth and learning. We are located in a low-income area in the South Bronx where the students do not have access to a lot of necessary materials. The materials that will be purchased from your donation will give them what they need to complete their work in school and continue their learning at home.

This will be their second year in our school building, and they are eager to continue learning in person.

I want my students to start the year off with materials that will allow them to learn in an organized way. Having containers to keep their work and tools in will teach them how to be organized. They will be able to have a classroom environment that is inviting and that is set up for them to be successful.
