Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are experiencing their first glimpse of a production this year. This is a Title I school in an urban setting. Many of my students have never even seen a play. To participate in a production helps them in many ways. It not only gives them a fun experience, but it teaches them cooperation with others, public speaking skills, organizational skills and the ability to stretch yourself and be the best you can be. They are doing scenes about middle school and are very excited about the show. However, we need to purchase some supplies. With the help of these folding benches and food trays, my students can not only present their scenes this year, but continue to use these items in years to come. Thank you for your help.
