My Students

My school serves approximately 440 students and is part of a smaller district in Southern California. It is a sought-after elementary school in the community because expectations are high and students are challenged to achieve to their highest potential.

The staff members at my school truly believe that all children can and will learn, and we are committed to identifying strategies to reach and maintain this vision.

My Project

These boxed books sets will keep my stronger readers engaged and motivated to read more in class, as well as at home. Our district adopted reading program provides a nice selection of reading materials that keep my students engaged, but only for short periods of time. Many of my students are ready for a bigger challenge! The Magic Tree House chapter books will allow me to conduct book clubs in class and allow me to send some home for my students to continue their reading adventures after school as well.
