This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sesame Street is an educational show that teaches acceptance and a sense of self for anyone and everyone.

There is a character in Sesame Street named Julia, who has autism like the students in my classroom.

I believe a welcoming, warming, bright, and colorful environment is important for young students to feel safe, excited, and ready to learn. Sesame Street teaches many amazing lessons that i would like to bring to my classroom with the help of the toys, books, and decorations with the characters and themes present.

Elmo and friends are a familiar face for all growing children.
