My Project

This is my second year at my school and I've learned that our scholars are beyond creative!

STEM toys and hands-on activities will further develop their innate creativity and promote problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Our school serves scholars that typically do not have access to STEM learning. We serve low-income families. It's time to start serving them STEM!

I plan to use math manipulatives (base-ten, cubes) to conceptualize place value and operations. The building planks and magnets will be used for Do-Now, early finishers, and science and history to pique interest, foster creativity & collaboration, and provide a high-quality learning experience in math, science, and history. Our kids deserve more. With your help, I can give them more.
