Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide my second grade students with a variety of series books that they will be reading throughout the school year. Series books play a very important role in the reading curriculum for second graders. They are learning to develop ideas about characters, getting to know them and learning from their experiences.

The series also include diverse main characters that students in the class can relate to.

These books will make a great addition to my library with choices that will meet the needs of all different readers in the class.
