Imagine a space where students can escape into a world of sensory exploration, where twinkling lights dance across the walls, and every touch brings new discoveries. I'm hoping to create a sensory corner designed specifically for our special needs students—a magical space that will allow them to engage their senses, reduce anxiety, and enhance their learning experience.
This corner will be filled with sensory tiles that invite exploration, fidget tubes that calm busy hands, and textured stress balls that provide much-needed relief from anxiety!
I'm looking to stock our sensory corner with these essential tools, as well as general classroom supplies like cardstock, tissues, and a gift card to purchase data retrieval assignments that will help us track and support our students’ progress.
Every item on the list plays a role in creating a functional and supportive environment where my students with diverse needs can learn and thrive.
