Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our eager and excited learners are all about exploring their environment. And sometimes, they need help self-regulating their emotions. The sensory lights not only provide visual feedback, they also provide tactile input with vibration. That little bit of input goes a long way to help our students self-regulate and navigate the exploration and challenges of preschool. And the borders help provide inviting decoration for all the boards in our classroom; boards that help highlight all their work and art.

Your investment in sensory materials will go a long way toward developing social and emotional skills.

Those skills include self-regulation, which is a crucial skill in early childhood development. And the colorful borders help us make the space more fun and visually enriching.
