This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sensory toys are fun for children of all ages and abilities! At the beginning of the year, I stocked our classroom store with sensory toys for my students to purchase as they earned their salaries and bonuses, paid rent and fees, and saved up for larger items. Since then, many items have been successfully purchased. My Gifted 4th and 5th grade learners have truly enjoyed the learning process when it comes to Financial Literacy. The best part is that they are motivated to learn and earn bonuses and help around the classroom.
