Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, when a student completes all of their work, I offer a break if they feel they need one.

I would love to be able to offer students a play break with a sensory toy after completing their work.

At the moment, we only have one cube so when others finish their work they have to choose a different type of break. The cubes are very popular at the moment. I'd love to have more. I also would love to have some quiet sensory toys they can play with at their seat while they work so they don't distract other students. The dividers would help students not get so distracted in their small group, while other groups are going on in the room. The reading comprehension workbooks would be a wonderful resource to send home to families to help their children improve their comprehension of texts.
