Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school's minority student enrollment is 97%. The student-teacher ratio is 12:1. The student population is made up of 48% female students and 52% male students. The school enrolls 86% economically disadvantaged students. Many of the students are not able to express themselves and through social emotional they would be able to find their own voice.

Sometimes in life all we need something small to achieve big dreams.

Help me give my students a voice a light through their dark days.

With one toy they will be able to see better day and express who they are.

Sensory toys will help students express themselves and help them focus

Stickers books will provide stress sensory experience as we talk and learn throughout day.

Some students need a pick me up snack so they are able to engage in their learning experiences.
