This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to request sensory toys for my alternative autism class to help my students manage overstimulation and maintain calmness.

I love how each of my students brings unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom.

The sensory toys I’m requesting will provide them with the tools to self-soothe and focus better during lessons.

My goal for this project is to create a supportive learning environment where my students can thrive academically and emotionally. By incorporating these resources, I aim to enhance their ability to concentrate, engage, and participate in activities.

What makes my students special is their resilience and creativity. Each one has their own way of processing the world, and these sensory tools will empower them to express themselves while learning effectively.
