Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project consists of different sensory tools that help my students focus throughout the day and meet their sensory needs.

Some of the sensory items I chose like the lap pads help some of my students get the sensory pressure they need to sit for small periods of time.

This also helps their minds focus on their bodies being content.

The gear toy and puzzles are great for my students to work through their critical thinking skills while also building their fine motor skills.

Lastly, the butterfly garden is always a hit with my students. They love watching the life cycle of caterpillars into butterflies.
