This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of creative energy. The hardest part of my day is clean-up, when some of my students just don't want to stop making art.

However, all of that energy sometimes makes it hard for them to focus, especially when I am giving the demo.

I made stress balls out of rice and balloons, but some of them started to break almost immediately as these kids are squeezing REALLY hard. I need something sturdier for them to manipulate when they are seeking out their sensory input, so I am buying some heavy duty stress balls and fidgets.
