Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi Donors! We are looking for help with obtaining some sensory items for our classroom.

The items we need are: a body sock, massage roller, stepping stones for balancing and weighted wrist bracelets.

All of these items do a great job helping sensory processing development in all of our students that have autism, ADHD or developmental delays. They work on proprioceptive, balance, and body awareness - all of which is needed to maintain optimal focus in the classroom.

Not only will these tools be used in the OT room but we will also work with the teachers in implementing them in the classroom, as well as potentially trialing them before purchasing more for the special needs classrooms.
