Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art is fun! I appreciated my student's excitement and how they are learning how to include everyday textures into their sensory play such as sand, shaving cream, foam, cardboard, and rice glued to different surfaces during our specific art themes while the students are provided with a variety of sensory art activities we lack materials to get many of our project completed.

My student learns naturally by exploring, investigating, and creating through their five senses such as touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste.

The squish-squeeze sensory beads would play an enormous part in my class by calming students while listening to soothing music during the painting of a Cat and Bird by Paul Klee with our Kwix Stix paints.

As an Art teacher, I encourage my children to try new things. I praise them for their effort and let their imagination go wild for new experiences through our art projects.
