This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Transitional Kindergarten teacher and my students are mostly four-year-olds. At this age sensory play is so important for the development of their little hands and brains. It also allows students to interact with one another and learn to take turns. The tuff tray I have put in this project will allow for an area where students can explore sensory, art, music, engineering, and much more. The tray helps me keep the area organized and clean without the mess that comes with things rolling off the table. This will help my students have fun at their height.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
