Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special, not only because they are special education students, but because they are all unique. In my class of eight students, I have skill levels ranging from pre-k to 3rd grade. I will use the sensory tools, chewy items and materials to adapt lessons to meet the needs of my students.
With the materials included on this list I will be able to better meet the needs of the learners in my classroom who benefit from increased sensory input, such as tactile, oral and visual methods.
My personal focus this year is on literacy and making improvement in my students' understanding and use of language.
