Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschool students with disabilities will increase their focus and be ready to learn with the addition of the wobble chairs to our classroom. Visual supports, such as the floor decals, allow my students to become independent by learning how to transition during small group activities and ease classroom management. The stepping stones create a kinesthetic support for my students to improve their gross motor skills and regulate their emotions.

My goal with this project is to improve sensory and visual supports for my students and increase my student's school readiness skills.

My students are very special because they love to come to school and are excited to learn. They are learning how to become independent and increase their focus during structured learning. These items will allow me to improve transitions during activities and increase learning outcomes.
