Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special educator, I work with many students who have different sensory needs than neurotypical kids. Many students are extra sensitive to sound, or need some additional help showing their best handwriting when writing words, sentences or essays.

We need noise cancelling earmuffs and raised line paper to help students with sensory needs be successful in their classrooms.

The earmuffs will allow students who are overstimulated by loud environments remain with their classroom regardless of the activity. The raised line paper will help students with fine motor deficits write neatly on paper to express their thoughts.
