My Project

Providing a sensory classroom is vital to aid my students. Students diagnosed with autism demonstrate variations in sensory processing and require strategies to effectively navigate their sensory experiences. This environment minimizes distractions and fosters a more effective learning space by catering to their needs through various sensory inputs such as tactile, visual, and auditory stimuli. As a result, it leads to enhanced focus, engagement, and overall well-being in the classroom.

Sensory tools can significantly improve learning by offering a multi-sensory experience.

Sensory seating provides individuals, especially those facing sensory processing challenges, with a means to receive controlled sensory input while seated. This can aid in regulating their senses, improving concentration, and enhancing comfort in their environment. Such seating options often incorporate textured surfaces, slight instability, or bouncing features, allowing for subtle movements and pressure stimulation.
