My Project

I will use these sensory tiles, sensory lights, bubble tube lamp, and other items to create a sensory space in my inclusion classroom that will allow students to learn at their own pace and develop skills without pressure. Often times my students need a different type of space/environment to learn in or take a quick break in and rejoin the group. My goal is to use the new sensory space to encourage my students both with disabilities and without disabilities to express themselves in an effective, gentle way to assist in learning emotional regulation.

My students are some of the most caring individuals I have ever met.

I want to be able to provide them with a space that supports emotional well-being so they can continue to grow healthy relationships with peers and be successful in school.
