Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The social emotional supplies will help my learners' self regulation and co-regulation skills so they can be ready to work and play in school. The Weighted Husky, lap pad, sensory brushes are tools that can provide a sense of calmness. The Stem Magnetic Blocks are particularly motivating and popular with my learners as it will spark creativity. The colored paper and cardstock will tap into their creative side, help support their fine motor and handwriting skills, and they will bring home art projects they can be proud of.

I hope to create positive, meaningful, and therapeutic experiences with my learners.

They are all hard working, sweet youngsters who have so much potential with patience and motivating supplies/tools. My students are neurodivergent and special education learners who love to play and willing to learn/explore all there is available to them.
