Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My little ones are an incredible group of young learners, each bringing their unique personalities and abilities into our classroom. They are curious, enthusiastic, and full of potential.

Many of my students are on the autism spectrum, and their unique strengths and ideas create a rich, inclusive learning environment that we celebrate every day.

Sensory toys like the activity wall panel, light-up wands, and squishy toys will help students manage sensory input and develop self-regulation skills. These items are especially helpful during quiet time or when students feel overwhelmed, giving them tools to focus and calm themselves. Chew necklaces will also provide a safe outlet for oral sensory input.

The soft rugs and anti-fatigue mats will create cozy spaces for group activities and independent work. Storage baskets will keep materials organized and easy to access, teaching students responsibility and independence.

Together, these resources will foster emotional growth, social interaction, and academic success in my classroom.
