Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is an Early Childhood Inclusive Environment with various student needs. Sensory STEM Sand play will encourage our students to explore their environment and develop their physical, social, and cognitive skills.

The Sensory STEM Sand opportunities will provide many developmental benefits including enhanced motor skills, social and emotional awareness, improved language and speech, creative expression, and concepts of mathematics and science.

In addition, students will learn about the properties of different materials, be able to practice problem-solving techniques and acquire a greater understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.

The Sensory STEM Sand experiences will be an amazing addition to our exploratory classroom.
