My Project

My classroom is comprised of typically developing 3-5 year old students as well as students with mild to severe unique needs. All students would benefit from having access to these spinning chairs. They encourage balance and coordination, allow an outlet for sensory needs and vestibular input, they are safe and easily moveable within our classroom.

Many of the students in my classroom qualify for special education under the eligibility of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and movement like these chairs provide is something that a lot of my students seek out frequently!

We have access to chairs similar to this at recess time, and my students flock to them! I would love to have an option for this movement while we are learning in the classroom as well!
