This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The different types of sensory and yoga techniques that I am requesting for my students will help provide some sensory input for those students currently having difficulties regulating their sensory systems and focusing. It will also help provide them with mindfulness techniques that can be utilized when they need it in the classroom. It can help provide useful tools in their self-regulation toolbox.
These sensory and minfulness options will allow students to move and help them be in touch with how they are feeling physically and emotionally.
