My Project

I have my fair share of providing sensory tools that results to being used as a toy and increasing more noise and distraction.

The goal of sensory tools in my room is to support participation, engagement, and interactions that promote skill development and learning.

In this project, I am creating a sensory classroom that will address the sensory needs in a more calming and quieter way. I am creating a sensory-informed classroom that are setting the tone or culture of the classroom to be one of inclusion, acceptance, and differentiation, no matter what the students’ needs are!

Whether my students are working to develop social skills with peers, behavioral and emotional regulation, improve attention/focus, develop organization skills, or manage classroom behaviors, sensory tools can regulate my student's level in order to get at these higher-level skills needed for classroom success!
