My Students

In our multi-leveled and abilities classroom, students require additional supports to meet their needs academically, but also have many sensory needs that must be met for them to be successful and achieve their personal best.

My passion drives my success and that of my students.

I want each of my students to succeed in their daily endeavors and education. The majority of my students come from low, socio-economic communities and also have varying exceptionalities and varying abilities.

Integrating sensory materials and meeting the needs of my students will not only improve their learning, but have a positive impact on their social development, behaviors and independence within the school community. Thank-you for your consideration and donation to our success!

My Project

Sensory items such as glitter wands, bean bag chairs, blocks and beads will benefit my primary ESE students by meeting their individual needs through sensory integration and learning to regulating their behaviors. The needs of each students will be met through use and regulation with the sensory materials.

Ultimately, the goal will lead to the success of each and every child in my classroom and providing a sensory rich learning enrichment.

The impacts of this will be seen through out the classroom, in our school and in the children's lives. Each and every child will benefit from a sensory based classroom. Thank-you for funding my project and supporting my students!
