My Project

The children who enter my Pre-K classroom are often children who have never been to school before. Many come from different cultures and until now had no interaction with people outside their family. It is overwhelming for any child to enter a classroom filled with people they don’t know. Now they are also surrounded by different cultures in a strange place.

Sensory Materials help children to be calm and feel less overwhelmed by all that is going on around them.

It helps them focus and learn to adjust to their new surroundings. Help my students have a smooth transition from home to school.
