My Project

This year my class has many students on the Autistim Spectrum.

They learn by feeling, playing and fully immersing themselves in something.

With sensory tables, I will be able to reach my students in a way that may be unconventional to the general classroom, but will bring the learning to my students. You cannot always follow "the plan", but alter everything you can in order to meet your students where they are. I am hoping to bring their love of sensory play into their academics to help them grown and develop both academically and socially.
