My Project

The items that I am asking for will assist me in teaching my students during the school day. The calming tubes and rain sensory tubes will allow students the opportunity calm their emotions and participate in the curriculum. My goals for this project are to use each donated item for my students. We will use the caterpillar fidget and sensory mats for class activities, free play time rewards earned for following classroom rules. The warmer will be used to keep my classroom atmosphere pleasant ant clean smelling, my students become quite gaseous after breakfast and lunch. They tend to let gas escape all day and it has a very strong and unwelcoming scent. I say this as respectful as possible.

My students are special and TOTALLY AWESOME because in spite of their diagnosed disabilities, they come to school eager to learn.

Their eyes beam with pride and joy when I present my lessons to them. They work extra hard in trying to write their names, sing classroom songs, and participate in physical education games and activities with their fellow classmates. The fact that they in a self contained special education class does not determine their destiny. I am a proud Autism Teacher.
