Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are starting our Farm to Food theme and I want to create a sensory learning area where students can pretend to bake! We are requesting pink kinetic sand so students can “bake” birthday cake, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream and other treats in our sensory learning area!

Our Prek students love to learn through play, and this baking sensory area will be hands on and fun!

We already have reusable cupcake holders, baking pans, measuring cups, mixing spoons, birthday candles, and measuring spoons, we just need more kinetic sand! Thanks for your help!
