Sensory Room at Martha Washington

Help me give my students a new and improved sensory room! Help target proprioception, vestibular, tactile, visual, and auditory regulation with new tools and toys. We have a great space but need new items.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! Our students deserve a safe, comfortable space to play and relax during the school day. These new items will target all areas of sensory regulation and promote an interactive environment.

By having these materials in our toolkit, we can better help our students learn different ways to regulate their emotions.

Being able to regulate themselves will help them be able to participate more successfully in the classroom, during speech and occupational therapy sessions, and will increase their overall success and learning. It will also give them the necessary tools to learn to self-regulate outside of school as well.
