My Project

Sensory play is crucial for students with autism as it helps them engage with and explore the world around them in a safe and controlled manner. Many individuals with autism experience sensory sensitivities or seek specific sensory experiences to help regulate their emotions and behaviors.

By incorporating sensory play, such as activities that involve touch, sound, sight, or movement, students can develop better self-regulation skills, improve their focus, and enhance their ability to process sensory information.

Additionally, sensory play fosters creativity, encourages social interaction, and supports cognitive development, allowing students to build important skills in a way that feels comfortable and enjoyable for them.

Overall, sensory play provides a vital foundation for growth and learning in students with autism, helping them navigate daily challenges with increased confidence and independence.
