My Students

Pre-K is a place to learn through play and hands on activities. Our students are active in imagination and have boundless amounts of energy. They are a fun, diverse group from different socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Their little bodies need to move and their minds are busy processing all types of information around them. The sensory and tactile tools included in our project, will help them in coping with the classroom environment and learning Pre-K skills in a fun and creative way.

My Project

These sensory materials will be used to help students to remain calm and focused when they are overwhelmed. The Wobble Cushion will be used during Morning Meeting to help students focus more and participate in the group life of the class. The Rainbow Liquid Sensory Viewer will help students calm down in our Cozy Corner.

These tools can be used for individual Social/Emotional needs as well as group activities.

The items requested will make a difference in my classroom by giving more options for sensory stimulation while the students are learning and interacting with each other.
