My Project

I teach preschool students with autism. The items I am requesting will help them with their sensory needs. My students are learning how to navigate the classroom, socialize with others and self-regulate.

The items I requested will help meet the sensory needs of my students.

The tent will allow children that need some space or quiet time to have a safe place to go in the classroom. The tunnel will be used as a movement activity. Light covers will make sure the classroom lights are not too harsh. The crash pad will be used when the children need that kind of movement to help regulate. These items may also be used to deescalate a child that is over stimulated
