My Project

Children in our classroom are provided with a safe environment to learn through art and play. These fidget items, games, and other materials are used to teach social skills, coping skills, emotional management, and developing personal insight and accountability.

Studies indicate that expression through play and art reduces stress and increases emotional and social awareness.

Sensory items are used to increase calm and self-soothing skills. Our students use these resources daily both inside and outside of the classroom experience. The use of the materials transcends the boundaries of school. These materials teach skills that last a lifetime.
