My Project

So much of a school day for my special needs little ones revolves around self-regulating and adapting the challenges of school. My students often need to take breaks and ground themselves after doing work or an activity that is challenging. These items will help me create sensory bins and break centers for my students to take a moment and readjust without the demands on math or ELA. It's so important to educate the entire student, which means meeting them where they are and helping them to grow and explore in a positive environment.
