My Project

I teach a preschool special needs class. Most of my students have a diagnosis of autism. They are often sensory seeking and this cuddle box would be perfect for that input.

My goal for this project is to include this piece of furniture in our center room to allow students to receive the sensory output they need to help calm them and allow them to learn more effectively.

It will pair well with our swing and caterpillar tunnel.

My students are special because they all have individual needs and IEP goals. There are several students that have an autism diagnosis. This is their first experience in a public school setting.
