My Project

I teach in a specialized self contained setting for students who have moderate to severe disabilities. All of my students have special needs, many of which are sensory. A smooth transition to September looks like an organized, safe learning space with lots of room to explore and regulate emotions.

Please consider making their classroom more accessible through supporting us with a beanbag chair so they can calm down and relax when they need a moment.

The chair pocket organizers will also allow them to know that their personal belongings go in one area and be part of the routine that is so essential in a special education classroom.
